Streamers catch Big Trout. If you like fly fishing with big articulated streamers, this bug is for you.

When it comes to fly tying streamers for trout this fly is a lot of fun. With cool materials and techniques to develop a full but fishy body. I call it The Door Kicker. And it comes off of different concepts tied together into one big bug that announces its presence on the stream.

The Door Kicker is the fly that I used to catch those huge trout on the East Walker show. It is big, it is bulky, but it's still very fishy. It also fishes great.

The Door Kicker is an articulated streamer tied from concepts that probably originated from Kelly Gallup and a little bit of Gunnar Brammer's Sculp Daddy in there.

Then, I like zonker strips, so I added rabbit strips to the overall pattern. But if you like streamer fishing for trout with big articulated streamers, this is the bug for you.
