If you saw Our Green River Show or Teton show where we were catching fish after fish after fish some of those fish ate the Chubby Chernobyl and a lot of them were on the Homeboy Hopper.
It was Hopper season on the Upper Green and Teton and when the hoppers are out fish go nuts.
The Homeboy Hopper is a great bug that you’re gonna love. It is super versatile, you can use it for hoppers, you can use it for Golden Stones, you can use it as a searching pattern, you can use it dry dropper.
I tie it with some unique properties. Because the biggest problem for foam dries when you fish them is they will flip over and ride upside down. They will also spin on the hook because foam is hard to lock down with traditional tying methods.
So I've got a couple of techniques here to stop it from spinning on a hook. I also tie it super light up top so that it won't flip over and land upside down. Now, let's hit the vise for the Homeboy Hopper. It's one of my go to bugs.
